Compassion & Care
East Bay Veterinary Emergency has been providing quality compassionate veterinary care for East Contra Costa County’s beloved family pets since 2006. We are here to cater to your pet’s veterinary emergency and urgent care needs.
Local veterinarians trust us with their patients because they can depend on us to not only provide them with the very best of care, but to also communicate with their hospital. Working together with you and your family veterinarian, we can help ensure your pet’s quality of life is wonderful.
Offering top-of-the-line veterinary medicine in a state-of-the-art hospital is something we believe your pet deserves. Our veterinarians and patient care are expertly trained and very knowledgeable in emergency medicine. They are skilled in the art of critical and emergency care situations.
The number one goal of our doctors and staff is to have your pet leave our hospital feeling better than when they first arrived. We’re dedicated to your pet’s well being and are prepared to stop at nothing to ensure they are better. Alongside you, we will be your beloved pet’s greatest cheerleader.
My very loved cat Patches had been sick for a while. I knew the end was getting near. I tried to make an appointment with our own Vet but they couldn't fit me in for 3 days. I came home to find my poor baby collapsed and in a lot of pain. I called our vet and they told me there was nothing they could do that they couldn't fit me in. We rushed him to East Bay Vet Emergency and they were so kind through the process. I was a mess as Patches is my first fur baby and I've never had to put an animal to rest. I appreciate how patient they were and kind to myself and Patches. I'm so thankful for everyone that helped us through this heartbreaking process. To top it off the card we received in the mail today was so special and personal. I'm deeply touched by your condolences and your personal comments. I will cherish this card always. Thank you!
This ER vet office is wonderful! Everyone is nice and accommodating. My crazy Malinois has visited this vet three times within the past 6 months. Echo does not like vets and will go after anyone that tries to touch her. She has to be muzzled and sedated. It's not an easy task to sedate her either, but the folks here, do a great job. The staff here is very patient with Echo and they take good care of her. They also process my pet insurance paperwork in a timely manner and take care of it for me. I will def return if I need emergency care (but I'm hoping that I don't have to anytime soon).
